Creating a Container for Your Website Build or Rebrand
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

Creating a container for your new website, website refresh or rebranding is a significant part of the process but one we often overlook.

At Sourced, we teach transformational leaders and coaches how to facilitate an energy shift and create containers for their clients where deep transformation can occur.

At the beginning of COVID and lock-down, I had the opportunity to pivot my services and quickly developed the Sourced website. I knew I was building the brand of Sourced. I had trademarked it and secured the URL, but I hadn’t sat much with the energy of it. I was waiting for it to unfold on its own.

Fast forward two years, and now I have a clear picture of what Sourced is, what we offer, and who we serve. It is time to refresh the website! While there may be more tweaks, and it may evolve more, there is now a strong throughline of knowingness that needs to be reflected on my website.

At Sourced, we teach transformational leaders and coaches how to facilitate an energy shift and create containers for their clients where deep transformation can occur.

Since I have been doing this work this way for two years, I thought this website refresh should be quick and easy, right?

Has that ever happened to you?

You want to step into a new level of something or graduate yourself and think it will be quick and easy.

It can be, but when we are elevating our message and aligning ourselves with a new vibration that will permeate our work, it is a transformational process and must be honored. We like to think of this forward movement as the doing and sometimes neglect to stop to consider the energy.

When leveling up, an energetic birthing process takes place.

when we are elevating our message and aligning ourselves with a new vibration that will permeate our work, it is a transformational process and must be honored.

My question to you -> Are you creating containers for yourself as a leader who is masterful in transformation?

How do you make sure you honor the process?

One of the easiest ways is to hire someone masterful at holding containers for transformation. If you go with Sourced or one of our Sourced leaders, we will look at the energy you embody before we do any of the doing.

Suppose you don’t know those people or have people, but they don’t necessarily work from an energy/transformation first place. In that case, you can create it by understanding how a Sourced experience works and thinking about your project as a Sourced experience.

Having a Sourced Experience means there will be a truth (about your website, rebranding, or project) that will reveal itself during the process. The truth will be seen, it will be transmuted, and it will elevate you to that higher level of vibration.

Having a Sourced Experience means there will be a truth (about your website, rebranding, or project) that will reveal itself during the process. The truth will be seen, it will be transmuted, and it will elevate you to that higher level of vibration.

When we know this will happen, our stress drastically reduces because we know it is part of the process. However, when we try to get something done very quickly, we do not give it the time or space it needs to be a transformational experience. When we approach it as a Sourced Experience, it becomes an invitation to take the business to a whole new vibration. We might miss it, experience a lot of struggle, and go into the energy of making it wrong.

What is true for you? Are you creating these containers?

If you are looking for a container of support to align your energy to your new vibration, our Sourced Magic Business Program is the place to do that.

This nine-week program will provide a space to bring what needs to be revealed and shifted in your business for you to work lighter and see significant results.

When we approach it as a Sourced Experience, it becomes an invitation to take the business to a whole new vibration.

When to Hold Back Your Energy (even when you are a healer)

When to Hold Back Your Energy (even when you are a healer)

When to Pull Back Your Energy (even when you are a healer)
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

As a transformational leader, I like to focus on the energy field and how to shift it to get completely different results in our lives. I wrote a book, Shift the Field, all about this! Today, I want discuss when to pull your energy back.

Most of you are very impactful energetically in your life and tend to be givers. So when you show up in a relationship, your energy (whether it be expansive, compassionate, vibrational etc.) is a gift.

Now consider that there are people in your life that will receive your gift but do not appreciate, acknowledge, or reciprocate that gift. I am not saying that giving and receiving have to be 1-1, but there must be a healthy energy flow between people.

Empaths are givers of energy. They show up on the scene, and people feel better. They ask questions that open something up for people, and they cause a new awareness to come into the space.

What if you are in a relationship with someone who is not healthy and will not take all you give and build with it but instead will take it and just take it. These people will destroy and crush it. Please be aware of what we give in relationships like that.

What do you do when you notice this happening?

First of all, you may not notice it happening because giving is such a big part of your being-ness that you can’t imagine being any other way.

consider that there are people in your life that will receive your gift but do not appreciate, acknowledge, or reciprocate the gift of your energy.

I share a helpful exercise using a T Chart over on my YouTube Channel.

    • On the top, write giving/receiving.
    • Down the left side, write down the names of the top five relationships or people you spend the most time with in terms of the giving and receiving of energy.
    • Go through each name and evaluate how much you give energetically (space, validation, listening) and how much the other person gives for you to receive. Are they balanced? Or not really?

After you complete the exercise, did you notice that there are some relationships that you are giving energetically, and you’re not sure if you are receiving?

If so, consider pulling back energetically and see what happens. Don’t employ your magic quite so much and take note of what unfolds.

One of two things will happen. Either you will create enough space for the other person to reciprocate the giving, or you will realize that the space is there, while the other person is fueled by your energy but doesn’t intend to give back.

If it is the latter, that person or those people may be depleting your life force without you even knowing it because you are so used to giving. Since you are such a giving life force, you feel everyone around you and are needed. It sometimes can feel terrific, but it is not good for you in reality.

Go through each name and evaluate how much you give energetically (space, validation, listening) and how much the other person gives for you to receive. Are they balanced? Or not really?

We all deserve to be here and take up as much space as we want, but we believe that we must be giving to be valuable, so when we strive for value just for existing and begin to pull back our energy, it can be scary.

    • How do we decide when to pull back energetically?
    • What do we notice when we become aware?
    • Can we sit with the results we uncover?

When these deep-seated patterns show themselves when we have been trying to earn our keep in an unhealthy and depleting way, it can be scary to pull the energy back and create space for the other person to bring something to the table energetically. Will they do it? Or will they abandon me?

If that sounds true to you, get some support!

When these deep-seated patterns show themselves when we have been trying to earn our keep in an unhealthy and depleting way, it can be scary to pull the energy back and create space for the other person to bring something to the table energetically.

There are several ways Sourced can support you through this.

Your Sourced Expression – a six-month container of 1-1 coaching that will support you in navigating through this, getting energetically clean, and setting healthy boundaries with your clients and team.

Certified Sourced Leaders – trained transformation coaches who have honed their skills through Source to hold space for you as you navigate and experience the reclaiming of your energy field by choice and through discernment rather than a habit or a matter of course.

Doing this work matters. Knowing how to stay energetically clean and aligned is the most important thing you can do as a transformational leader.

The Divine Protection of Love

The Divine Protection of Love

The Divine Protection of Love
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

The divine protection of love. Is there such a thing?

As the world opens up again, we shift back into full calendars, networking events, and social commitments. Some may have mixed feelings about this; however, my soul craved this interaction after 2.5 years of only being in my office and my sofa.

The divine protection of love.

Is there such a thing?

The Divine Protection of Love as the World Opens

Last year my relationship fell apart. Something happened that was unworkable for me. I spent lots of time asking myself, can I trust her? Will I ever be able to trust again? It was a painful time, and I want to share how I got through it.

I decided to trust the energy. I let go of having any expectation of trusting myself or another person and instead placed all my trust in the universe. Then, my job was to pay attention and respond to the people and situations the energy brought me. I decided to trust the universe and live my life, including the grief, with a completely open heart and from a place of love.

In the end, I trusted the energy and ended my marriage.

I decided to trust the universe and live my life, including the grief, with a completely open heart and from a place of love.

Here are the lessons I learned along the way:

  • Trust the energy. You don’t have to overthink whether you trust a person on not because the energy will show you.

  • Protection is an Old Tired Path. I have reflected on my marriage as a whole to identify where was the energy off in the relationship? Even from the beginning?

If the energy was off from the beginning, that gets embedded in the decision and helps us take responsibility for what happened rather than being a victim. There was a part of me that wanted to be protected. My Old Tired Path of Protected vs. Unprotected was alive in me.

  • The more we can be with our emotions, the easier it will be to step off that Old Tired Path and into a new energy.

  • If it is occurring, it is Sourced. There can be a tendency to make it wrong or judge ourselves. What would come up for us if we let those tendencies go?

The more we can be with our emotions, the easier it will be to step off that Old Tired Path and into a new energy.

When I sat with the Old Tired Path of protected versus unprotected in my life, I asked myself, ‘what would be possible if protected and unprotected were irrelevant? If I knew it was impossible to be protected and also impossible to be unsafe, what would that make available?

I would focus on being loving; I would focus on discernment and trusting the universe, divine love, and Source.

Visit my YouTube channel and let me know how this resonates with you.

Source-led Collaborations: a Conversation with Dr. Davis Shepherd
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

I sat down with Dr. Davia Shepherd, chiropractor, holistic practitioner, and Certified Sourced Leader.

Davia noticed in her work as a chiropractor that she was functioning as a “backdoor coach.” People would come to her to heal physically but using Source, her intuition, she could always identify the Source of the pain, which typically wasn’t physical.

One day one of her patients suggested she take a group on retreat, which led her to me! In our work together, Davia has honed her skills as a transformational leader focusing on using Source to support women in gaining visibility through Source-led collaborations.

    The Vulnerability of Asking

In this week’s YouTube video, I talk about the three asks all transformational business owners need to practice.

What’s on my mind fresh out of retreat, is one of the exercises we did. We all practiced making an offer from an authentic place and reflected on how that felt with our peers in the room.

It was a powerful and potent experience.

Hear more about that and find out the three asks you need to practice over on my YouTube Channel!
