My Journey as a Compassion Magician

My Journey as a Compassion Magician

My Journey as a Compassion Magician

By Anna Stephanie Munoz

It was March 2020 and something awful hit the planet earth. It started quietly in a small city in China, and it grew out to epic proportions affecting the whole world. From one day to the next, everyone was in lockdown due to a deadly pandemic.

This changed us forever.

What do you think happened with the people in lockdown? Many started languishing, others had crippling anxiety. Everyone’s mental health was affected. Being locked away also meant they had to face whatever was going on in their homes with themselves and with their families (if they were living with someone else).

I realized this magnified the good, the bad and the ugly. All the things you were doing right and from your heart started to move forward extremely fast. But it also happened the opposite, if you were doing things wrong and from the ego, things started fast to shatter—jobs, relationships and companies.

It was really a tough time to all the population on earth, it did not matter if you had money, a job, living in paradise or nothing at all, we all lived the same challenges in our own reality.

What do you think happened with the people in lockdown? Many started languishing, others had crippling anxiety. Everyone’s mental health was affected.

And yet, since the beginning of the outbreak I have always thought that COVID was a blessing. I don’t mean to minimize the horrific death toll or condone the handling of the crisis by any particular government. I do believe, however, that the pandemic did offer us an opportunity to do something rare: stop and ask ourselves, “is this the way I want to live?”

For me, it felt like the quantum leap we needed to elevate our level of consciousness as humanity. That did not mean the process was going to be smooth and easy… especially if it was being accelerated… on the contrary… It felt like a walk in the park, but Jurassic Park!!!

One of the most beautiful gifts I received during this time was the confirmation that one of my “superpowers” as I called them, is my compassion. And to put it in marketing words, I am a Compassion Magician.

How did I discover this?
If you still do not know what your magic is TAKE THE QUIZ.

When I was in my process of getting certified as a Sourced Retreat Leader, I discovered that compassion was something inherent in me and that not all the people had it. I thought we all did, but it is not like that at all. Discovering this first was a big shock for me. It was like entering an international conference room and started speaking in Spanish and after several minutes finding out that from 40 people in the room, maybe just 5 more speak my language. They know I am speaking in Spanish, they might understand a few words, but they do not relate to the language.

That is exactly what happened to me. Not everyone magic is Compassion, nor can they truly relate to it.

One of the most beautiful gifts I received during this time was the confirmation that one of my “superpowers” as I called them, is my compassion.

Then there was a second thing I discovered, to be fully sourced and be compassionate from my heart and not out of pity or my ego, I needed to be 100% self-compassionate. Why, you ask?

To fully embrace my magic, it needed to come from my heart, be fully compassionate with myself, and then projecting this compassion towards everyone else—not the other way around.

Do you see the pattern here? DENIAL of what is…

And finally, it hit me. I needed to surrender to what is and embrace my magic to start being self-compassionate and learn from it, so I could start teaching this to my clients.

Sounds simple enough, doesn’t it? But easy? Not in a million years. This is especially true if I am coming from my default and not my sourced energy. Since I absolutely LOVE challenges and working on improving myself, I took this as my healing process during the pandemic.

And you know what? It has been life-changing! I am not going to go into detail of all the things I tried and did no work, I want it to be easier for you than it was for me. So, I am going to tell you the 3 steps you need to do to accelerate the process.

To fully embrace my magic, it needed to come from my heart, be fully compassionate with myself, and then projecting this compassion towards everyone else—not the other way around.

STEP 1 – Own Your Magic

For you to truly live it, first you need to accept it and feel it as an important part of you. Without denying it or trying to “fix” it. There is nothing to fix, this is a superpower you have here woman, embrace it, make it your own, and truly live it from your heart.

You might be asking; how do I do this? You need to understand what it means. Your superpower has a responsibility attached to it and you need to understand how you will show up in the world. As they say… With great power comes great responsibility…

There is nothing to fix, this is a superpower you have here woman, embrace it, make it your own, and truly live it from your heart.

STEP 2 – From Default to Sourced

I believe there are 3 different ways you can do this:

What would be the difference? It depends on the pace and outcomes you want to achieve. If you want to do it by yourself without help and want to take the longer road, then do the first. The book is truly amazing and it will definitely shift your energy, but it is all self-work.

If you already know you want to live your self-compassion from a sourced energy and you want help to shift your energy, I offer you a magic session of 90 minutes so you shift your energy to Sourced and start living from that new energy in your magic.

If you also want not only to work on yourself, but also teach your clients to do this, then get certified with Darla to learn how. Become a Certified Sourced Leader, here you will do your own process with Darla´s guidance, share experiences with the other members, and learn how to do this with your clients.

So, it all depends where you are at the moment and what your priority is right now. The 3 options are great!

Shift the Field is truly amazing and it will definitely shift your energy, but it is all self-work.

STEP 3 – Trial and Error

After shifting your field and being in a Sourced energy with your magic, you need to:

Define what self-compassion means to you.

Define 3 things you will do every day to have self-compassion.

Define 3 ways you can show compassion every day toward others.

Write down 1-3 learnings each day about compassion and self-compassion.

If you keep a diary or a tracker with this you will be living your compassion magic in no time for yourself, family, clients, and community.

I really wish that you live in your compassion magic. Today, with how the world is changing we need more of you living your true magic to help increase the level of consciousness and help humanity to make this quantum leap without so much suffering. We need you! Help us out!

Lead Magnets and Marketing with Source

Lead Magnets and Marketing with Source

Lead Magnets and Marketing with Source
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

I want to talk with you about marketing with Source. And what this might look like. How is it different to honor how Source is guiding you, and the way that you market, as opposed to creating your marketing from your head, which we often do, where it’s all Sourced, right?

We’re always learning. But even worse, we look around at what everybody else is doing and decide based on that. We could go even a step further, which is whatever the latest Facebook ad is, you’ve been served up and clicked and whatever that secret magic formula is that that person is offering that you just take it and run with it because it’s there. And they made it sound really, really inviting and juicy and easy and simple. Right?

How is it different to honor how Source is guiding you, and the way that you market, as opposed to creating your marketing from your head?

So what would it look like to market with Source? Well, first, here’s what it’s not. So let’s just take an example of in your business, you need new leads. The way that I teach marketing, I teach that there’s three stages, there’s meet, engage, activate. So you need to meet new clients, you need to engage them like they need to get to know like and trust you and you need to activate them. And so you need a strategy for each of these.

Now, it could be the same strategy, for example, speaking in front of someone else’s audience, means you meet people, you engage them. And if you can make an offer, you also activate them all at the same time, which is great, right? But you need a strategy for each of these.

And so you’re coming from your head and figuring out like, what do you want to do? But what would it look like if you had a Sourced approach to this? If you had a sourced approach to this, what would you want to tune into? Who do I want to serve? Who do I want to serve, but you don’t want to obsess about it, but you want to get a sense of who do I want to serve? In other words, don’t go crazy with the niche, right? It’s just like who I want to serve. Feel into that. Because then you’re going to learn more about your audience as you go.

Use your magic, right? I have a quiz called the Sourced Magic Quiz where you can take the quiz, your Magic, like use it, to tune in and ask your Divine guidance.

Who do I feel inspired to work with? Who am I guided to work with and there’s lots of pathways to this and use your expertise. So there are things that you know, based on your life experience, even if you’re brand new in this particular business, you have an expertise that lets you know who these people are. Maybe you’ve been that person in the past, where you’ve worked with them in some way in corporate or there’s something that you’ve done in a past experience that gives you knowledge and expertise maybe it’s on a on a particular process or certain transformation. So you let that help you to think and feel into who you want to serve. Okay?

The way that I teach marketing, I teach that there’s three stages, there’s meet, engage, activate.

Then you want to ask yourself this question, how do I cultivate within that audience a commitment to the transformation I offer? In other words, how do I help them discover that they want the transformational journey that I like to take people on? How do I help them discover that? How do I help them get committed to actually making a shift in their life that’s going to change everything? That’s the question to ask them and don’t get into the format.

It’s like, what do they need to know to realize or discover that’s going to help them be present to either the impact of the discomfort they’re in? Or the excitement of the desire that they hold to have a different result? How can I help them get present to that, and then and only then you want to look at the strategies and say, okay, which of these are the tactics really, which of these tactics is going to help me to deliver that which of these is going to help me to deliver that?

So as an example, if someone really needs to, let’s say it’s about money in business, okay? Someone really needs to get present to why they want to make more money. Let’s just say that’s something that you help people with. You want to help you want to create something, then you’re going to ask yourself, what tool is that? A quiz? Is it a journal prompt? Is it some kind of video training? Is it a meditation? It you know, what is it – a mini retreat? I do a lot of those experiences.

That’s going to help them get present to their internal commitment to making more money, because people hold it all the time as like, Oh, I’d love to make more money, but they’re not really present to their commitment. They don’t know why. And they’re not present to what they’re gonna have to give up when they do. So now you can start to say, what tactic, what specific item am I going to create, that helps cultivate that commitment when you don’t do it that way, right? When you’re coming from the other place of saying, Oh, I just saw somewhere, someone said, make a 10 page ebook. That’s the best lead magnet. So I’m going to do that. Okay, what should I write about? Gosh, I’m an expert on all of these different things.

How do I help them get committed to actually making a shift in their life that’s going to change everything?

Let me just pick from the sky, which thing I’m going to write about. And then you write about that. It’s not actually serving the purpose, right, that you and your Source guidance want to serve in this life. And then I see this a lot people end up with a lot of different like random, juicy, fabulous lead magnets, but they’re not actually Sourced. Right, they’re not actually inviting people into the transformation you offer.

Once you get clear, okay, now I know what I need this thing to do, and I’ve chosen my format, then feel free to buy a course or get a download or whatever. Have someone who’s an expert in that who’s done it before. So you can learn the details and get swipe information, like make it easier for yourself feel free. It’s possible that what’s going to come through is you want to create something that’s never been done before. And that’s also great, right?

So feel free to invent a whole new marketing strategy. But again, not just to complicate things, but because your Source guidance has led you there. So I hope you can see the difference.

what tactic, what specific item am I going to create, that helps cultivate that commitment when you don’t do it that way?

I’d love to know your experience with this.

We love helping people access where Source is guiding them as business owners and taking that kind of more sublime or esoteric information, and merging it with the practical business options to make a business that’s in deep, deep alignment, deep service to your clients and works really, really well for you.

Let us know if there’s anything that you need in this area. I’d love to hear your experience in the comments, like and subscribe and I will see you soon!

And we want to look at how can this person be free and in energetic alignment with receiving that money.

Are You Letting Other People’s Feelings Keep You Invisible?

Are You Letting Other People’s Feelings Keep You Invisible?

Are You Letting Other People’s Feelings Keep You Invisible?

By Gayle Nowak, Visibility Sage and Founder of The Story Stylist

Last month I put out a survey asking New Earth entrepreneurs to share your desires and discomforts when it comes to stepping into greater visibility.

The greatest discomfort by far, and the thing keeping many invisible in your business, is a fear that sharing your truth might hurt others.

Here’s the thing.

Inevitably, someone will not like what is true for you. So it can feel safer to silence and suppress your message, your “ask”, your work, and your own view of the world. We all do this to some level, and you may be tempted to respond to that fear with force.

it can feel safer to silence and suppress your message, your “ask”, your work, and your own view of the world.

That is ONE approach you can take and sometimes it works. However, in my experience and with my clients, it’s hit or miss because when you constantly ignore and go against your feelings it can lead to greater anxiety and fear, especially if you’ve suffered adverse and traumatic childhood experiences.

One of the most common fears we experience as humans is being seen, and yet most entrepreneurs simultaneously long to be seen because we know in our core that we are here for a purpose. We deeply want to make a difference.

It actually makes sense when you realize that visibility fears often start in childhood, as a result of the times we were made to feel wrong, rejected or different. All of us have experienced this at some level; it’s simply part of being human.

most entrepreneurs long to be seen because we know in our core that we are here for a purpose.

We deeply want to make a difference.

So another approach is to heal these past experiences, releasing fear’s hold on you so that you can feel confident, courageous and excited about being visible.

What I’ve discovered over the last couple of years is that inner child work accelerates that healing, which has a direct impact on your business.

What you learned as a child – either from your family, schooling or media – you took on as truth. And even if it’s no longer or never was true, your inner child continues to carry it around and impact how you think, feel and behave.

For example, not being seen and heard in childhood shows up as a fear or resistance to fully putting your work out into the world. In other words, being visible.

Worrying about your message, content, programs and prices ties back to worrying about what other people are going to think and feel about what is true for you. In other words, feeling vulnerable.

What you learned as a child – either from your family, schooling or media – you took on as truth.

I invite you to explore how the emotion and energy around being visible shifts for you after reconnecting with your inner child over the next 21 days. There are numerous inner child healing meditations available online to help you.

It may look a little messy at first. You may even cry. That’s actually a good thing because you are releasing emotions and energy you no longer need. Feelings of discomfort, sadness, anger, fear, grief are normal. Feeling nothing is normal. You may even feel joy, happiness and excitement in these sessions.

It may look a little messy at first. You may even cry. That’s actually a good thing because you are releasing emotions and energy you no longer need.

Keep a special journal for these inner child experiences.
You may want to write down:

  •   What you see, hear, and feel during the session
  •   What your inner child wants and needs at this time
  •   How you would have wanted things to go differently
  •   What, if any, incompletions do you feel you want to take action on now
  •   What you acknowledge, accept, and even appreciate about the actual experience that comes through
  •   How you and your inner child collaborated to re-create a more loving and positive experience

After the 21 days, journal about the impact of turning those negative experiences into positive experiences has had on your heart, your energy, your relationships, and your business.

Your inner child holds incredible wisdom for you and your big mission.

Go from FOG to CLARITY

Go from FOG to CLARITY

Go from FOG to CLARITY

By Lorrie Thomas Ross

We all experience FOG (Fatigue, Overwhelm, Guilt) at times. It’s part of being human! But we don’t have to stay there. Becoming aware of our emotions is a prerequisite; from there we can decide what to do with them.

And yes, we get to choose.

These are the steps I use to guide my clients to help them get past the FOG and move towards CLARITY. It’s important to approach this with a leadership mindset.

The first step is to realize we are ALL leaders – whether we’re working solo, working for someone else, or in the middle of a career change.

Leadership Mindset

The first step is to realize we are ALL leaders – whether we’re working solo, working for someone else, or in the middle of a career change. Being in a leadership mindset changes the way we do things in our homes, with our partners, and in our businesses.

Lead with Love

Seeing yourself as a leader is a simple step that shifts perspective and changes the way you do things. Every leader has their own leadership style. If the term “leader” feels a bit bold (it used to sound like being a ruler to me), think of leadership as “leading with love”…love for others, your work, your family, your community, the world…and most importantly, love for yourself.

Living and working on-brand and on-purpose unapologetically is the bridge to get from FOG to CLARITY.

Living and working on-brand and on-purpose unapologetically is the bridge to get from FOG to CLARITY.

CLARITY

Communicating with Confidence. We communicate visually, verbally, and energetically. Step into your unique beauty by communicating confidently. Align your brand, photography, website copy, social media posts, email marketing, texts, and email replies with your personality, authority and style.

Leading with Love and Laughter. Clients, coworkers, life partners, life itself may be unpleasant at times. Let’s face it, life gets messy. I have my share of default FOG “on the verge” moments…then I remember how important it is to be an unapologetic leader. Be honest with yourself (lead with love!), be kind to yourself and remember to laugh more!

Accepting Abundance. There is no better time than now to start believing in receiving! We cannot rise until we are ready to receive (thank you Darla, for that wisdom!). This means valuing your work! We stop giving out discounts when we truly value our work – why settle for crumbs when you can have the whole loaf? Be open to being open!

Think of leadership as “leading with love”…love for others, your work, your family, your community, the world…and most importantly, love for yourself.

Receiving Rest and Restoration. It is SO important to rest – you have to disconnect to reconnect. This was one of my biggest mistakes when I started my business 16 years ago. Success does not have to include stress or burnout. Take regular breaks to get refreshed, increase focus and be creative. The first time I went on retreat, I fell in love with my business again and came back so refreshed and ready to grow. You have to unplug to recharge. Now I take trips every 90 days. Non-negotiable!

Igniting Inspiration. One of the most valuable things you can do as a leader to stay clear is to stay inspired. Do things and create moments for yourself that keep you mentally stimulated, inspired and creative. I like being in nature, looking at art, walking – creating something in the kitchen without a recipe releases my creativity! Inspiration also comes from offering emotional support or encouragement to others, whether in your online community, writing helpful social media posts, or living by example. Understand what inspires you so you can continue to ignite that. Be inspired and live inspired!

One of the most valuable things you can do as a leader to stay clear is to stay inspired. Do things and create moments for yourself that keep you mentally stimulated, inspired and creative.

Taking Time. It’s important to have open blocks of time and not over-schedule ourselves. There’s no way I would have had time to write this if I didn’t! Stop to evaluate if what you are doing is serving you. If not, it’s okay to let it go. Don’t feel obligated (that’s the O in FOG) to do everything or to keep doing things in a way that doesn’t nourish you. I reschedule a lot of things or let them go altogether. Also, schedule things that are important, things like fitness, alone time, hobbies  – whatever it is that feeds and nourishes you.

Being Unapologetically YOU. Lead your life in a way is is 100% magically, wonderfully you. Know what you want, own what you want and step into your unique beauty. When I began to own my magic, my life and work transformed instantly. Living on-brand and on-purpose makes us less likely to get into the FOG in the first place.

Seeing yourself as a leader is a simple step that shifts perspective and changes the way you do things.

Do What You Do Best, Hire Others to Do the Rest

Leading unapologetically also means delegating to others so that you can spend more time in your magic. You need a team…a dream team to help you grow. When I coach and support my clients, I find the biggest disconnect in business is often in the delegation, so go ahead and find things you can ask for support with and allow yourself to receive the help.

Bring that leadership mindset into everything you do and see what happens!

Just Raise Your Prices

Just Raise Your Prices

Just Raise Your Prices
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

A lot of people watching this video likely do need to raise their prices. At some level, you probably know that that’s why you click to watch this. It’s like, yes, yes, I’m undercharging, or I’m overworking, or somehow the equation isn’t adding up for me to be able to make the money that I want while doing the work I love. And so I need to raise my prices. And you know this yet, a lot of times people give this offhanded or blanket advice in a way that so in the wrong place, right? And so triggering then for someone that they shut down to it completely, or they feel paralyzed around it.

Welcome to the space for transformational leaders to unleash their magic, see better client results, work lighter, and live source. Hi, this is Darla, founder of sourced author of shifts the field, just raise your prices.

This is common advice in the business coaching industry. I’ve seen it time and time, again, where someone is maybe getting coaching at a live event. And you know, the coaches learning a little bit of information about the client and they say, “Just raise your prices.” Now, is this good advice? Or is it not? This depends. This depends.

So I was talking with a client recently who I said, you know, you got to raise your prices? I know, I know. I said, I know, it’s not that simple. Because there’s a lot of decisions that go along with this choice to elevate your pricing. But we know we got to get there, right? And she said yes. And she said, thank you so much for saying that. Because I can’t tell you how many times I’ve heard that advice raised, you know, I’ve gotten the advice, just raise your prices, and I cringe, because it’s like the person isn’t understanding the whole picture.

So here’s the thing: a lot of people watching this video likely do need to raise their prices.

So when is it good advice to just raise your prices? And when is it not?

If someone has a business model that’s working for them, they like the clients that they’re attracting, they like the structure of their offerings. And the only thing that needs to shift is the money. It’s great. Yes, just raise your prices, you have clients, you like them. They’re coming in, you know, there’s, there’s a whole conversation that so many service-based entrepreneurs have about this, will they be able to afford it at the next level, like that’s not your concern, many of them will. And those that don’t, you know, that’s really okay. But if the only tweak is if I just raise my prices, everything else is working great, then that’s good, solid advice. And you need to do that.

A lot of times, there’s many other decisions that have gone along with someone’s choice to price in a certain way. And if that’s the case, I like to address the whole big picture. So if you’re working with clients, and you know, they need to raise their prices, but maybe there’s something else going on too like, give yourself the space to transform that before feeling like you have to go right in to raise your prices.

And I find that a lot of people you know, a lot of people in these coaching scenarios, it’s like the coach says, raise your prices and gets everybody excited about raising their prices and having more money and all of that.

But it is kind of a shortcut, to actually getting the person aligned for it.

So they leave and they say, Okay, I’m going to raise my prices, but they never do. And then they never do and then they never do. So on the other side, you want to look at what does that person need to transform first to be the person who can receive that money? And then what does that mean for their business model?

A lot of times someone’s business model is not actually set up in a way that they love it and just raising their prices wouldn’t solve things, right? It’s like okay, giving me more money to work in a way I don’t love isn’t going to fix it.

And in fact, a lot of times they actually need to change who their audience is in order to raise their prices, right?

Because they are, and these things go hand in hand, whatever needs to be transformed, likely will free them internally.

To be able to see that they can serve a higher-level audience that’s willing to invest at a higher level. In other words, a lot of times, it’s like our dysfunction, that causes us to pick our ideal client or our target audience. Because we want to save everybody, we think we need to take everybody with us, we want to help people who we perceive as broken, because we don’t trust ourselves to be able to help people who are already whole and successful. And so a lot of times this stuff needs to shift in order for someone to be in energetic alignment with serving the audience, that’s going to pay them the higher price.

So this advice that says just raise your prices, it can be really amazing. I remember I was in a mastermind, and our very first assignment was make 10,000, more than you made last month, while the month before I had made 1000. So the idea of making 10,000 more seemed impossible. But without that idea, it didn’t, I didn’t do it, I didn’t make 10,000 more, but I made like 5000 more, right, which would have been unheard of from my consciousness at the old level.

So raise your prices is amazing advice.

And we want to look at how can this person be free and in energetic alignment with receiving that money.

So sometimes this advice causes someone to go in this journey with the client that I was talking with, who knew she needed to raise her prices, but she also knew the structure of her business was not quite right, she had a membership, that was a low ticket that needed to be transitioned into a higher ticket, her middle offer was like, kind of funky, and it wasn’t actually fun for her. So she needed to actually get rid of that offer. And that was what was going to make this newer offer more appealing. And so there were a few pieces of her business model that needed to shift for her to show up fully in her magic, and therefore feel good internally about receiving that money. And that work is so amazing.

And it’s so exciting, because there is a divinely aligned Sourced business model that gives you the money that works for you that makes sense for you, and allows you to show up where you love every client, you love all the work you’re doing. And you’re not. You’re not in lack. Right? It is possible it is available.

What has been your experience with this? Have you ever got been given the advice just raise your prices? And it rubbed you the wrong way?

Have you ever been given the advice, just raise your prices and it actually really inspired you to do the inner work to raise your prices?

Or have you raised your prices and it was easy?

And I’m curious if anyone has actually just raised their prices, and they got more clients or their conversion increased because the price was actually aligned with what you were already giving?

I’d love to hear, please post in the comments and let me know. Also look below this video, I have a program called the Sourced Magic Business model where we really look at your business model and what you’re charging. And make sure it’s all aligned with how Source, how Spirit wants to work through you at this time, so I’ll put a link for that below. Thanks so much, like, and subscribe and we’ll see you soon.

Make it Your Masterpiece

Make it Your Masterpiece

Make it Your Masterpiece
By Darla LeDoux, Founder of Sourced and Author of the books Shift The Field and Retreat and Grow Rich

You have to let yourself be seen. When you scatter your resources, and you don’t choose to make it your masterpiece, then people can’t see you as clearly, that doesn’t mean that your business won’t work or you can’t be seen at all. Right? They can’t see you clearly.

Make it your masterpiece. I’m Darla LeDoux, founder of Sourced, author of Shift the Field. And I remember when I got this advice from a brilliant mentor of mine, I was just creating this little program called Retreat and Grow Rich. And I have the name for it. And I do the promise, I had been working in my business for several years at this point, and I was delivering a lot of the value of my programs through live retreats. And in fact, I was doing a lot of individual retreats, and people would come to those retreats, and they would end up doing more work for me. And this became a consistent stream of income in my business model.

And the thing that I noticed is I was I was working with my clients, you know, to get clear what their business was about, and how they wanted to show up in their business and shift their energy field and all of that stuff. And I was doing it a lot in retreats, and clients would start coming up to me and say, you know, “I just want a business like yours. I just want to do what you do.” And so I developed a course about that, called Retreat and Grow Rich. And I got the URL and I decided to write the book. And I was feeling really excited about this. And if you don’t know, I have a book called Retreat and Grow Rich, I have a course and program. And that’s been my work for the last six years. But it wasn’t really likely to happen that way if it weren’t for this mentor who told me…

Darla, you’ve got to make this your masterpiece.”

Now the reason this was so important is up until then, as I said, I was you know, doing great work, I was earning a great living, a lot of things were working, but I was constantly reinventing the wheel. And so I had a course that I would run once or twice, and then I had another course that I would run once or twice, and then I would do this retreat or that retreat. And there was nothing wrong with that I was following my inspiration. And again, a lot of it worked.

But those words, they just like seared into my soul: Make this your masterpiece. And I could suddenly see how even though I was a really I was delivering excellent content. And you know, the structures of my programs, and the way I was delivering them was really, really good.

And in my heart of hearts, I was undervaluing it.

And at some level, I knew this because I saw other people kind of offering a fraction of what I was offering and you know, having hundreds and hundreds of people go through their programs, and I wasn’t. And so “make this your masterpiece’ really sunk in and I ran Retreat and Grow Rich, it’s still a program that you can purchase on our website. We have a community of retreat leaders and all of that for six or seven years. And really consistently, you know, I filled all my retreats from Facebook ad funnels.

And it just all happens so beautifully because I made a decision to invest not money, right, although that was a piece of it, but to invest my whole self into the work.

Now, why am I sharing this? Why am I sharing this? It’s interesting because where I am today, I just in April launched my second book, which is called Shift the Field in May, we did an event called Shift the Field Live. And honestly, I feel like that’s my masterpiece at this point. But I learned how to make what I offer a masterpiece.

Back at that time when my mentor said that I got committed to learning how to do that. And so this whole experience of launching this new work has been amazing because I’ve held it differently. And I’m sharing this because I see this. So so so so often with the clients that come to us, they are reinventing the wheel; they’re having a different idea about what they should do regularly, or they have something that they’re doing, but they aren’t fully trusting that it’s enough. It’s enough, right? And that’s what was happening for me, I was doing something but I could always see all the ways to improve it or what I could do next or what else people need or whatever. Instead of saying “This is my masterpiece. This is my masterpiece.” And it is, you know, right? And it’s enough. And it’s enough and right now it’s enough.

So, what’s happening for you?

Where in your world? Are you not making it your masterpiece? Where are you saying, “Well, let me try this … but probably it’s not going to last or it won’t be that successful?”

There’s, this has been coming up so much in my world, both I have a client who’s transitioning from a therapy model into a coaching model. And she was kind of doing that, right, like being hesitant about, is this enough? Is this good? Is this a good program? Can I put my whole self into it? Do I need to hold back and do four different things because what if this doesn’t work?

I have another client who has been in business for a long time, kind of where I was, where she’s had a great business, been doing multiple, six figures and working with clients, and always has a stream of clients and all of that. And yet, the solidity of knowing this is my thing that is my masterpiece, has kind of been missing. So each cycle feels new feels like, I don’t know what I’m doing where the clients, right, as opposed to putting a stake in the ground and saying, This is what I do.

This is what I do.

areAnd actually, in my retreat work and Retreat and Grow Rich, one of the core things that I would talk about over and over and over again, is you have to let yourself be seen. You have to let yourself be seen. When you scatter your resources, and you don’t choose to make it your masterpiece, then people can’t see you as clearly, that doesn’t mean that your business won’t work or you can’t be seen at all. Right? They can’t see you clearly.

And so where is there a place, where is there a part of yourself that you are afraid to see, or been unwilling to be with? That’s actually creating all of this extra work as opposed to letting you just make it your masterpiece. I’d love to hear. If you are seeking support around making your current work or the work that’s calling to you, your masterpiece. I have a resource for you below. This is Darla LeDoux, founder of Sourced, author of Shift the Field. And we’ll see you very soon.
